Bantam chick breeds

I think this chick has a rose comb, which would mean it came from the Sebright. I recognize rose combs by them being wider than other combs, even on baby chicks (at least, with the chick breeds I've seen.)

Edit to add: if that chick it grows white + black feathers with no brown, then it definitely has the Sebright for a mother, and is a male. A daughter of the Sebright will have brown in her feathers, due to a sex-linked gene.
Now that they have feathered out a bit this one is definitely a sebright, as it has that comb and silver and black feathers, I will have to check again and see if I see brown.

No need to check--if there's lots of silver, then it's a male. He might get a bit of brown in a few places (shoulders, hackles) rather than being a clean-looking silver, but a female would just look gold-and-black all over.
