I have some a variety of bantam cochin chicks that I need to sell. We are keeping the ones that fit our breeding program but have others that need a new home. I hatched these chicks from shipped eggs from a breeder in Louisiana and one in Maryland. They are from VERY nice, typey parent...not hatchery quality. Great foot feathering already...no featherless middle toes!! This is what I have available:

(4) gold laced (they were marked frizzle but none are actually frizzled themselves)
(2) barred
(2) red
(1) buff


These chicks are 1 week old...eating and drinking...happy and healthy. They are quarantined in my house in the city and have never been around other chickens so there should not be a concern about the transmission of any diseases. Our adult flock have never had any type of illnesses...thank God!! Just in case that is a concern to you...

I'm asking $5.00 each. This is what I have in them. I paid a pretty penny for the eggs and felt like this quality of chick would be worth the investment.

Surely there is SOMEONE that would like to have some nice cochins!! Just think...no more hatching in an incubator. Just a few cochin hens will do the trick!
