Is this guy a blue lemon roo??? The picture doesn't do him justice....

Birchen???

I can't remember these babies age, they're all about the same age though. Mottled girl??

Blue? I can't decide on gender?

Obviously a boy, but what color??

Can't decide on gender.... And what color???

Thank you!!!!

i think that the black and white one is a mottled, the one you think is a blue looks like a blue, the one that you the is a birchen looks like one but the hackles are too yellow. just remember that i don't know that much about their colors this is just what i think they might be

Your first boy isn't lemon blue, he's just blue with a lot of mossy color. I had a Marans rooster with similar coloring....

then a birchen, a mottled who is probably a pullet but I'm not positive, those are some red wattles. The rest are cockerels I believe, a blue, and then mixed colors that aren't any specific color.

So should I not breed the blue roo?? They can't be all boys

not all boys!!

Well, breed for what? He's not going to give you a nice, clean laced blue color that's desired. He can make a variety of different shades of blue offspring, possibly with the mossiness. Fine for backyard birds, not good for show birds.
