Bantam Cochin Frizzle Gender - 14 weeks

Hi everyone. I was wondering if you can confirm tell me the gender of this frizzle cochin that is 14 weeks old. I purchased 4 chicks that all hatched within 2 days of each other. I have one that I know is a cockerel and is crowing...and two that I am pretty sure are pullets. This one looked just like the pullets though until about two weeks ago...and now is starting to grow a larger comb and waddles and is more red. He is not crowing yet....however I am thinking a boy. I was wondering if you could confirm? Thank you for your help!

Thank you! That is what I am thinking as well. I am hoping my roosters continue to get along...the girls are going to be heartbroken if we need to re-home one of them.

I wouldn't give up hope. Some of the frizzle cochin girls can get very well developed combs and wattles. We've got one that is really large, but she lays eggs.

The pic above is right at 20 weeks. But she developed early. I'll see if I can find a pic of her closer to the 14 week point.

I can't find a pic of our pullet at that age, but I do have a pic of 2 red frizzle cockerels at about 13 weeks...sorry it's a bit blurry. These guys weren't the focus of the original pic. But their comb and wattle development seems more than the OP's. No guarantees...I just wouldn't declare it a cockerel yet.
