Bantam Cochin (maybe?) - Breed and age help

Here is the second of the two new chicks purchased from TSC on Friday (4/29). This one is from the bantam mix at TSC. She looks like a cute, fluffy little penguin so my youngest named her Penguino, and she had to come home with us. She has "eyeliner" and feathered, yellow legs/feet. I tried to get good pix of these attributes, but she is fast! My guess on breed is Bantam Cochin, but I'm really new at this. Any other opinions? Also, I'd like to have an approximate age for her...notice that I'm very hopeful she's actually a she. =P I know it's too early to tell, but does anyone have any guess as to gender?

Thanks! I can't believe I ID'ed a chick correctly. lol I'm super excited that she's a Cochin. Really looking forward to watching her grow.

Yep bantam cochin alright, Possibly a silver laced in color? Looks about a few weeks old in the pics. By about 4-6 weeks old u should be able to tell whether its a hen or a rooster.

A few weeks old?? Holy cow! She is so tiny. Here are scale pix:

Yep; I picked up six at TSC about 2 weeks ago and, while they are getting their wing feathers, they still remain tiny. I first called them bumblebees with feathers. Now they look like SLIGHTLY bigger bumblebees with more feathers.

Thanks, Georgiagail! So are Cochin Bantams just slow growing? I'm still new to chickens and trying to absorb as much info as possible.
