One black, one silver-laced bantam cochin male. Originally purchased as chicks from TSC 2 years ago, were unsexed. Too many roosters for our small flock of hens, need to move them somewhere else before winter hits.
The only other chickens in the flock were from mypetchicken 4 years ago, the entire flock has been healthy the whole time we've had them.
Currently the silver-laced is the dominant rooster, the two do not fight as they established their order a year ago.
We know they may become food, but are trying to avoid the Craigslist option as we want to make sure have a humane end if we can't find a regular home for them. We've raised them from tiny chicks.
