Bantam Cochins....Silver Laced X Black --UPDATE! GOT THE ROOO TOOO!!!

I just got two SIlver laced cochin hens.... all I have is a black roo..... will I just get blacks from crossing them or will I get laced the first generation?

I'm pretty sure you'd end up with all solid black chicks.

Probably solid black but some white streaking on the feathers may bleed through. Wouldn't be the most dazzling.

I went for blues and they had listed that they had black and whites....I thought they had... blacks and some whites.... turned out to be some awesome looking from what I can tell silver laced girls.... lovely little round butts!
I am in love! I kinda kick myself... i should have asked if he would sell the silver laced roo! But he wasnt as stocky as I like... I have a flashy little black roo that I love to cross them too.... the guy had a ton of started silver laced chicks ($3 each!)... I got 3 chicks that look like pullets and am hoping here in about two weeks he will have more left....

I got two silver laced a blue and a red.... his blues tails were pointier than I was looking for... not the little round poofs. HOpefully I will get some pretty little babies!

Im still dizzy from the excitement...
Hoping my 3 babies are as pretty... I tried to pick the babies with the roundest bodies and tail poofs....
