Hi I’m new here and new to chicken raising, but I love this site for information!!
So I started my flock by ordering 3 straight run mottled cochin bantams. Then I ordered 6 pullets of different standard breeds. They sent my 6 chicks with an additional (2) “free” chicks. Now I have 4 cockerel because all 3 of my bantams have turned out to be boys as well. I‘m wondering how all of this is going to work out. The EE cockerel is starting to really pick on the bantam cockerel. I‘m sure I messed up by starting with standard and bantam, but I was hoping I received all pullets....my mistake. I’m worried that I’m going to have to get rid of some of the boys but the bantams are sooooo sweet and cute! This is Marmalade (bantam) and Witchy Women (EE). Great names for cockerel’s...LOL! What are your thoughts? Thanks!!

My thoughts are it's a non starter.

Well more than likely it is not going to work out. People tend to hope that there is a secret method of getting a lot of roosters to get along... in a small confined space. And there really isn't one.

You do need to set up a plan B, C and maybe D and have them ready to go. You need a place set up that you can put a bird, and maybe two places that you can put two birds by themselves, such as a dog crate, and a way to grab a fighting bird. A dog crate and a fish net or chicken hook will work. If you do not think you can cull birds, start looking for someone else to take them. Or start building a separate coop/run.

Get it set up, find some people to take some, or watch some videos on how to cull them and crossing your fingers that it will work are really your options... and I don't have a lot of faith in the last one.

I totally agree with you both!!! Don’t think it’s going to work AT ALL!! Sad because I’ve come to really love the Bantams. I live in the country so I will be able to find a good home for them. I’d like to keep 1 bantam with my hens....is that ok? All my hens are standard size. Thank you so much!
