Hi everyone. I have a bantam gold-laced polish and a silver duckwing old english game bantam that need to be rehomed. They are both about 12 weeks old and as the title states I am located in Durham NC. Message me for more info.

I assumed rooster because of the saddle feather and more vertical position. But maybe not? The crest is pretty hen like? What do you think?
Nope, those are a roo's saddle feathers. Also female crests are usually nice and round, but yours is more chaotic like a male's.

How so? Those saddle feathers are drooping, not pointed. That doesn’t mean the polish is a rooster. The crest is mostly rounded. I’m guessing that it will continue to get less wild as she grows.

They look pointy to me, and the crest feathers do as well. :) I'd say cockerel, but to each his own.

Maybe you should make a sexing thread. Along with closeup pictures of your polish’s saddle and crest feathers.
