Anybody keep their bantams in their own coop?
I have a Golden Sebright & a Cochin bantam who are about 6-7 weeks old (with their turkey buddy) in with our layers currently. It’s working out fine, but I worry about the tinies free ranging our privacy fenced backyard with the big girls. They’re just so small. I’ve got another Sebright & an Old English game bantam in the brooder, & I’m wondering if it would be worth it to build them their own place.
I’ve seen pictures on Pinterest of kids’ playhouses converted to coops. Has anyone done this? I think it would be adorable!

I am planning to convert a kids playhouse into a coop in the future, and here's the plan:
-Cover all openings with hardware cloth (some will be turned into ventilation)
-seal up some windows
-Turn one window into nesting boxes that are outside the coop
-replace door with something more sturdy
-put on raised platform: this doubles as a floor and gives access to the run. I can put run space under it, which is good as I am pressed for space on this project.
I hope that this has helped!
