oh let me tell you guys this I went to the Salvation Army, I was sent there after being denied foodstamps when Roy lost his job, the DFACs sent me said they had a food bank that would assit me with some food and gave me a slip, I get to the Salvation Army that "WE have done food drives for at church and thoughout my life" and the lady said to me, "I am sorry we cannot help you, we only help people that have lost their homes in fires now" I said WHAT!! So, they told me to search on internet "FOOD BANKS" well the closest one was 55 miles Macon, google it you will see state to state, it had on the Harvest Food Bank all the churches, clubs, business, and FEDERAL GRANTS that help fill that building as big as a school house up, so we went there, the application was two days long I kid you not, and just because we had no jobs or income we "DID NOT QUALIFY", you had to meet 3 negitive critera's to get assistants, and it is FEDERALLY GRANTED WITH TITLE GRANTS, oh what about this one, the currency the $1, $5, $10 states "LEGAL TENDER FOR ALL DEBTS" well my nephew got a city probation fine for dragging him and some more boys, my sister goes to pay his probation with CASH they don't accept CASH you have to pay through J-Pay that charges you $5.95 per dollar amounts, or go to Wal-Mart and do some kind of payment deal $12.95 now what about that our MONEY is no good to pay with?? That is FEDERAL law you cannot be refused to pay debt with currency, but yet our STATE offices refuses to except it and will LOCK YOU UP FOR NON PAYMENT!!

Linda, thats weird.. When my sister had her baby she had to quit her job and raise him and be a stay at home mom. Her husband got layed off for a month then his work went out of business because they went backrupt. They had no income what-so-ever and they had a new-born child, so when they applied for the food stamps it didn't take them long to get them.

Oh geez, this thread has become so depressing! I hate to hear of good people being taken advantage of. Is this Lifetime Movie Channel? *pinches self*~ nope, it's just BYC. Had to think for a minute. So sorry for all you are going through, Linda. People can be so crappy. Wish there was a vaccine against sadness and sorrow. I think most of us would get one.

Nope no deal.
I thought I sold all mine ( pending a move this coming year)
And just the other day had a hen run right by me to the feeder I had yet to take down.
She is On a nest somewhere By our pond but we can't find her. So I'm fixing to mist likely have a pile of guineas again.

You know you want them.........


Forgot - hope your coop is ok and your keets.
I zip tie on the safety clips when I use them.

STOP CUTTING SCHOOL TEACHERS, SCHOOLS FUNDS FOR BOOKS AND CLASS SUPPLIES, OVER CROWDED CLASS ROOMS, FOOD PROGRAMS TO FEED THE HUNGRY, MEDICARE TO TAKE CARE OF OUR SENIORS, AND STOP RAISING TAXES, AND CUT THE PRISON SYSTEMS TOLIET PAPER USE THAT WOULD SAVE THE STATES TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS!!!
