We went to our state fair yesterday and in the poultry display I saw the cutest thing I have ever seen! The registration tag on the cage said it was a bantam duck! I had never seen or heard about a bantam duck. I didn't know there was such a thing. Can anyone tell me about them?

I have lots of them. Just tooo darn cute for their own good. Probably the most spoiled animal on the property. I have BEI's and silkie bantam ducks.

Call ducks are also a bantam breed. They come in many colors. Here are some of mine.

Call ducks are great ducks. They are bantam. Only about 1.5 pounds, and very friendly. Another bantam breed is the Black East Indie.

We have flying mallards they are considered bantam. They look like dwarfs next to the Rouens.

Not calls - they are very hard to hatch!
