Bantam Ducks

Hello all, new guy looking to get a couple of bantam duck hens. But I have no idea where to start! Is there a certian hatchery you recomend buying from. I guess what Im asking is I know nothing about ducks (we have chickens) and any info would be great.

Ohh Im sorry I didnt fill out my profile so you would know where Im from. Kinda new to the forum thing......Im from southern Indiana. I post first in the Introductions about our chickens and the names my kids and wife gave them. This is a great place, been searching and found lots of info on ducks. Sooooo many! I hope you all are in for a lot of silly questions.

ask away. I think a silly question is the one you don't ask. They may sound silly, but you'll never know the answer unless you ask. Everybody on here is very helpfull and if they can't answer your question they will at least give you support.

we will have ducklings this spring and we are about 45 min. south of Louisville.

Call Ducks are bantam ducks, but hatcheries dont sell them. You would either have to get hatching eggs, or purchase a pair from a breeder.

You can get some bantam ducks from holderreads.com as well, but you have to buy a certain amount (I'm thinking 10?) and they run about $10 and up each.
