Bantam Egg Hatching Time?

I’ve heard you should go into lockdown day 17 with bantam eggs because they hatch on day 18 or 19?? Is this true?

I've had LF eggs hatch early rather then bantam eggs. I had some a few years ago pip on day 17, & hatch on day 18, or pip on day 19, & hatch on day 20.

But usually they don't. Unless the temp has tended to be on the higher side during incubation.

Really? Mine have always hatched earlier. My last hatch I had a bantam pip on day 17 and zip on day 18. All the bantams hatched early, out of 5.

I know they're Bantams. The Mille Fleur Cochin.

I think with all my bantam hatches, I only had one hatch early on day 18.

Ok, I have 2 bantams, and 1 isa brown cross. I took out some failed eggs after my sister played with the incubator while I was gone over the weekend
