Bantam egg size

Does anyone have a bantam egg they could show next to a regular RIR or Buff orp? Someone in my flock is starting to lay small eggs and I can't decide if it's just small because they're pullets or if the egg is being laid by my banty cochin. The eggs I've found are about half the size of a regular egg and are light brown. I have buff orps, RIR, Dellies, Welsies, Marans, Cochins and Brahmas. Then I have little Checkers who is a bantam cochin. She's the one that hangs out in the coop the most and they could possibly be her eggs!
Would love to see comparison pics.

Wish I could help you with this one. My little self-blue banty Cochin, Shadow, my only bantam, hasn't laid her first egg yet. She is 31 weeks old now.

Here are some eggs I was getting ready to set. The bantam eggs are from my pyncheon. In the yellow racks, they are with young orp pullet (laying a few weeks now) eggs for comparison.

Then I laid them on the table with an egg from my BO that is around a year old, with a quarter for comparison. I hope this helps.

My bantam cochins and bantam araucanas lay relatively large eggs, compared to my other bantams. Not all bantam eggs are created equal! But if it's a nice round light brown egg, I bet it's your little cochin girl.

Well, I have now had 6 of these little boogers! They are too cute! I did catch one of my Buff orps in the box and shortly later there was an egg so I know she's laid at least 1.

I have noticed that they are different shades of cream with 1 in particular being a darker, rounder, smaller size. I'm betting that one is from Checkers!

Who'd have thought eggs could be so exciting!

I love eggs.

It took me days and days before I could bring myself to eat any of my girls' eggs. They were just too pretty!

In my coop I have mostly bantams and a sumatra that are laying. I get one jumbo egg and the others are mostly medium-large with a few smaller eggs. I think it depends on the breeding and the age. My phoenix hens lay serama sized eggs and my leghorn bantams lay 'peewee' eggs.
