bantam egg under a jersey giant-- help

I had a little banty hen quit her nest and, maybe stupidly, I put her viable eggs under my broody jersey giant. Well, one of the little bantam eggs is developing right along with the standard eggs, but it dawned on me tonite as I candled them that maybe the little banty baby won't be able to survive under a jersey giant mom and with standard sized eggs/chicks. Anyone have experience with a scenario like this?
