Bantam eggs and humidity

Do bantam eggs require a different humidity then standard size eggs?

I have hatched all my bantam and standard chickens eggs the same.

Everyone says its the same... but I am CONVINCED that they need a little more....

I always find I have a higher in shell death rate with bantam eggs than i do with standard eggs....

I'm finding so far it fluctuates between 50.1 and 52.9. "IT" is a Brinsea automatic humidity module. Should I mess with it or should it be fine where it is,unless I want to try to bump it up a smidge.

That is a bit high. It should be no higher than 45% for the first 18, then up to 65% for days 18-21

You can try tweeking it some. If it goes below 35%, then you can worry!

<EDIT> I just checked my incubation info, and they say to keep it between 50 and 60% so you're fine!

Not much help, but I had an egg that I took from the hen at 14 days that had a 'V' shaped air sac. I think it is partly the cause of humidity being low, but I kind of wonder if it's not something to do with the hen as well.

I hatch all my bantams eggs with humidity at 35-45% for days 1-18, and 55% for hatch. This works very well for me.
