Just wondering how many people are consistantly getting their bantam eggs to hatch a day early, I have tried three times now hatching, and never have they hatched on day 20. always 21 or later.

I think a lot of it has more to do with them temps than the breed or size. If you keep your eggs on the cooler side of the safe range then your eggs will tend to be 21 days or later, On the warmer side they will most likly come a day or so earlier. Having warmer temps just to get them to hatch a little early can also be detrimental as well though. It can cause deformities in the chicks, and the same with cooler temps. If your temps are steady and you are getting hatches on day 21 or 22 and they are not deformed then you are doing it all right. Don't worry to much about your bantams not hatching early like some peoples : )
