Bantam food/with rooster

I am wondering if bantams can have pellet feed and if flock raiser is fine when having a rooster. When I had speckled Sussex I use to feed them pellets, but bantams are so small, I'm wondering if they'd be okay or just stay with the crumble. They are on Purina starter/grower, when do I change them to flock raiser? I believe they are 8 weeks old. Thanks!

They can stay on the grower if you want. They can handle the pellets no problem.

I feed pellets to my bantams. They eat it just find. I also feed an all flock ration. I just add a separate bowl of oyster shells for the calcium needs.
