I acquired these bantams at a week of age. The previous owner had 5 chicks hatch from an assortment of bantam eggs from McMurray. I am assuming they are black Japanese bantams and probably roosters, correct? I am new to ckickens and have gone by the catalog to see what type these may be now that they are older. So far they are friendly, but I do not need 3 roosters. I have one hen left after loosing my other hen over the weekend to predators or flying the coop when free ranging.
