Bantam hen with possible impact injury to head/eye

Found her with swollen lump on one side of head, completely surrounding right eye.
Very little blood... looks more like an abrasion... maybe a fall -- impact injury?
Flushing daily with warm water, treating with Vetericyn antibacterial, plus terramycin in the eye (gently separating swollen lids to administer). Some discharge has occurred but not enough to reduce overall swelling.
Need suggestions for ways to keep her eating... her beak seems to be giving her trouble (maybe from internal swelling?) Drinks water just fine. Today is day 6 following injury.

Since she can drink... could you mash up her food in water really well, maybe add in some canned cat food as well for extra protein. Runny as possible without watering it down TOO much. Might want to add vitamins and electrolytes too. That's pretty much all I can think of!
