any ideas on the 1st speckled one? I looked at the seabrights, those are pretty birdsLooks like two golden sebrights and a silver duckwing Old English Game Bantam.
I agree about the the OEG and one sebright, but the chick in the first pic isn't a sebright because of the single comb.Looks like two golden sebrights and a silver duckwing Old English Game Bantam.
Oops! Went too quickly and assumed it was a lesser quality sebright. My bad, sorry. I have no idea what the first one is. I've never seen one like it. I like it's speckles.I agree about the the OEG and one sebright, but the chick in the first pic isn't a sebright because of the single comb.
May I ask what a single comb is? I know what the comb is, but do some have more than one? I guess thats where I lack, I didn't know they could have more than 1I agree about the the OEG and one sebright, but the chick in the first pic isn't a sebright because of the single comb.
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised. They all looked very similar as fuzz balls. My australorp pullets are ending up what I think is black copper maran roosters...ha ha haOops! It does help, thank you for that info. I had no idea they had different shapes or more than one. There are many different types of combs depending on the breed of chicken. For example, Sultans have a “V” comb while leghorns will have a single comb. Other types include rose comb and pea comb, not sure if there are more. Also Sicilian buttercups have a double comb- not sure of the specific name for it. Hope this helps, I’m new!
