Bantam layers

I got my first chicks this year and am anxiously awaiting them to start laying, i got straight runs, and an assortment, 5 are bantams and one is a broiler and one is a brown chicken (no idea of the breed). My question is how are bantams at laying, they are so small are their eggs very small, how often do they lay.

Bantams lay regularly, just like standard breeds. Their eggs are smaller than those of the standard size chicken. You may or may not get an egg a day out of them. When I use them in a recipe, I usually use two or three bantam eggs in the place of one regular egg.
