I have six silkies at the age of a month and 1/2. I know that most hens start laying eggs at 5-7 months but I was wondering if the same goes for bantams? Do they lay sooner because they're smaller or later because they need more time to develop? I would really like to know when to expect their eggs. Thanks for any help or advice you guys can offer!
