Bantam making strange noises!

Help!!!
I have a sweet little golden Pekin Bantam who has been very well and happy since yesterday. She seems fine in herself but is making really strange noises - like squawking! It sounds a bit like she’s in pain. Everything else seems normal apart from the fact that she stays in her bed in the morning and doesn’t get up until someone puts her outside. The funny thing is though, she doesn’t run back in when you put her out.
I’m really worried and wondered whether any of you knew what the cause of this is!

She’s one and a half and is usually a good layer, although these past few days she hasn’t layed. She has been broody before and i did wonder if it was that, but what makes me think it isn’t is that when I remove her from her bed she doesn’t run back in again....

I would check her over really well then...see if her crop is empty in the morning, look for lice/mites and feel her abdomen for bloat/swelling or fluid. Try to get a look at her poop to see if it's normal, but consider getting a fecal float to rule out worms.

Today I noticed that she is broody, and doing what she used to do when she was broody! I’ve had to close the pop hole to stop her going up there!
It is a big relief to know she’s not unwell.
