Bantam maladies

Do bantams hatch more deformed chicks than standard breeds. I'm hatching banties for the first time and getting problem chicks about one out of six. These are all breed pure and not sibling parents as far as I know. Just wondering if bantams have more problems?

It seems to me they are slightly more prone to pigeon toes, leg issues, but not really deformed. I have had standards come out with the same issues, probably 5 to 2 leaning towards banties.
