Bantam or Buff Orpington????

I have some peacocks that should start to lay soon. I need a hen that will go broody allot so when they lay eggs, I will have a broody hen to slip some under. Which breed goes broody the most???

Silkies!!! But you won't fit many peafowl eggs under a Silkie....I know bantam Cochins tend toward broodiness, but I don't know if the large fowl Cochins do or not...it SO varies between individuals within any breed...definitely try to find one from a breeder that has birds in their line that go broody. Most hatchery birds have had it bred out of them.
