Bantam or standard size?

the other babies i saw on google are much bigger, just wanted to ask. The chick is a day old

Do you have a measuring item of some sort that you can use so show how big the chick is? Do you know what breed it is or if it is a mix?

Most probably Bantam. It has 5 toes, so it may be Silkie, or Silkie mix.

Definetly a mix breed since it has 5 toes and i have only seen my silkies mate with other breeds and not eachother.

If the mother is a full sized bird, the chick will likely grow up mid sized. If the mother is a bantam, it will likely be small since the father is a silkie.

Some Bantam crosses end up full sized. It varies greatly, so not easy too say for sure.

That looks like a black silkie mixed with a standard size hen. Probably going to be medium size, although that is a tiny chick.
