Bantam processing

The best age is when you no longer need or want them. Sadly, for the roosters, it is impossible to keep every chicken. To delay processing them only adds to the expense of keeping your flock. Small birds are just as tasty as big ones.
 
I think I will wait till around 20 weeks. No pecking has started yet.
Frugal's post is very good. I saved it and added it to the others I have. The most important part of the post is cutting and knife placement when cutting the poultry. It took me a while to figure that one out on my own. Been processing game birds for years. Nice not to have to pick out the shot.
