I just started the chicken thing this spring and bought eight "pullets" at the feed store. I also took in a group of youngsters from a neighbor down the road. I have a bantam rooster that came with the original thirteen from down the road. I also have a immature rooster that just started crowing this week. How big of a problem do I have? My flock consists of 10 immature, but fullsize hens-not yot laying-, 8 pullets about half grown, a immature rooster that started crowing this past week and 4 mature laying hens. I also believe one of my "hen pullets" is a roo as well. What should I do? I know I have a bantam rooster, a near full grown rooster and probably another half grown rooster. What should I do. they don't seem to fight with each other, but I think it's only a matter of time.

MY Standard roo gets along with 4 OEGB roos, 2 bantam wyandotte roos, and 2 Mille Fleur D'uccle roos. The Standard roo is almost a year older that the bantams.

I think most of what I said in this thread will apply to you. I don't think there is any doubt they will fight, but how serious the fighting will be is hard to say. And don't think the bantam is at a disadvantage. The fight in the rooster is a lot more important the the size of the rooster once they all reach maturity.
