We have a barred sex link roo that is rather large and aggressive towards our hens and guineas so we have seperated him our poor hens have almost no feathers but they are slowly trying to grow back since we have seperated him we are thinking of selling him and getting a bantam roo for our flock but my question is would a bantam roo be able to do his duties with our hens that are regular size we also have bantam hens but we would like fertilized brown eggs also because we noticed with our larger roo he never would mess with any of our bantam hens only the bigger girls

Yes. Many bantam roosters are as aggressive as their larger relatives; be sure to pick a breed that will fit your needs.

I didn't think my little d'uccle roo could get the job done with my standard Rocks and Buffs. I rehomed him with my sister and he has fathered two clutches with her standard Speckled Sussex hens.

Most bantam roosters can't officially breed large hen, they just make a mess on their backs, but occasionally a talented one figures it out.
