Bantam rooster with standard hens

I was wondering if one bantam rooster be okay with 6 or 7 standard hens and no other bantams? I've heard standard hens pick on the banties but a bantam rooster would still be able to stick up for itself and be in charge. Is this true and will my flock be okay?

I think it’ll be fine, I have some bantam Roos with some of my standard and large fowl. They do just fine!

Bantam roosters normally do just fine with standard hens, unless they are particularly timid fellows and the hens pick on them.

It is much better than the other way around. I wouldn't like to see my LF Cochin or one of my LF Cornish cocks jump one of my Bantam Cochin mixed hens. Poor little girl.
