i have a pair that i love , but i seem to be having issues with the chicks being hardy? i have been breeding ducks and chickens and others for 4 years now and this is the first breed ive had that i lose more chicks from, i dont understand why?

Bantam chicks don't seem to be as hardy from my experience. Did you raise large fowl before and these are your first bantams?

Or are you comparing them with other bantams?

other bantams , ive never had this breed only cochin bantams and silkies and things like that and they were much hardier, although these 6 are now over a week old and still doing fine so im wondering if the deaths of the first batch were the buyers fault and not the breeds. cause these are fine and so were the last ones until after they left me and went to their new home
