Hi all!

This is kind of a weird question, but I was wondering if there were any bantam-sized egg turners for the Nuture Rite 360 incubator. I’ve done bantam eggs with the normal egg tuner, but sometimes the eggs get stuck and don’t move.

Also, are there any incubators that have egg turners specifically for quail, or bantam sized eggs?

Thanks in advance! 😊

I cant answer the second question, but do have a question about your first one.
What seems to be causing the small eggs to get stuck??? I know that some peeps did place shelf liners on bottom to prevent little chicks' feet getting stuck in openings.

I’ve never heard of alternate sized egg turners for the NR360. Using shelf liner in the tray does help eggs roll smoother and gives them more grip on the surface. While I’ve only done standard sized eggs in mine so far, I’ve heard of lots of people hatching quail and bantams just fine with the turner it comes with. How are yours getting stuck?
I’ve seen quail rails for those egg turners that fit the styrofoam incubators before, and I’ve seen some kinds of turners that have adjustable slot sized. I know some brinsea models have the option of quail sized turners, so that’s one brand you could check out.

Thank you! For some reason when the egg turner turns, sometimes the eggs move diagonally, and sit sideways rather than longways, then they don't turn. It doesn't happen all the time, but if we did have a bantam sized egg tray, we could fit more eggs!
The eggs with the biggest problems are the ones with the calcium deposits, and somehow the calcium deposits grip the side and prevent it from turning, or they get stuck and don't turn while the rest do.
Thank you for the suggestion! We will have to try shelf liners. :) It makes sense that they would work!

Thank you! We will definitely give shelf liner in the tray a try! Sometimes the eggs move diagonally, or grip the tray too tightly, and get moved sideways rather than longways. It doesn't happen often, and I can always go in and fix it. :)
I'll have to check out the brinsea models! I've been looking to get another incubator, but I'd like to get one that does bantams, so I'll go check them out!

I’m not sure if you found trays yet but u can get the 3d printed ones on Etsy.
