I use the same minimum guidelines as for standards: 4 square feet per bird indoors, plus 10 square feet per bird outdoors. Bantams are small, but mine are very lively and active, and they certainly use the space. I have 9 bantams in a 64 square foot coop with a 128 square foot run, and while that's adequate, I wish I was able to give them more space.
