Bantam won't stay on roost

There are some [large fowl & bantams] that prefer to sleep on the floor. It's really not a problem for the chicken so why not just let it go?

My worry is because we have had a very cold winter. We've had nights in the teens. This week it will be in the twenties. I know the rest of the flock huddle together when it's cold. She paces around looking for somewhere or someone to lay with. I wouldn't care so much if it was the summer.
