Bantam Wyandottes have no spurs

I bought a pair of SLW Bantams a year ago an made a mini flock. NONE of the males have spurs. Not even a little nub. I just noticed this. Is this a breed trait or a mutation?

Not all roosters grow spurs, and they may grow them at different ages. My one rooster did not start to get his until he was about a year old.
