Bantam?

This is hulk my old bantam and number one broody girl. I think she's a mixed breed bantam maybe but wasn't too sure, thought I'd get some suggestions
, also is there any way on knowing how old she is, I've had her two years and she was a hen when I got her, thanks guys and girls.

Looks like a lovely mixed breed. Perhaps with some Japanese bantam in her background, which could possibly explain the short legs and perky build?

Pretty mix breed! Definitely a bantam. To small for a standard chicken

I agree she is probably half Japanese Bantam with those little legs. No idea what the other half might be though. She is adorable!


Edit: it is possible she is full Japanese Bantam actually. I was thinking her body looks a bit rounder and fuller than a Japanese but it could just be the angle of the pics you posted.

She is definitely fuller and puffer when she sits up. Might be japanese/pekin? Good to know. Thanks, either way she's my favourite. Is there any way to age a chicken? Sorry if that sounds silly just thought I'd check.
