I posted in the intro section about my lone rooster that i rescued from a grocery store parking lot. I'm pretty sure he's a Bantam but this is my first chicken ever so i could be very wrong. Any help is much appreciated. [IMG]

  2. I believe that you are correct, he is a bantam. I think he is a Spangled Old English Game Bantam with poor spangling, or a mix of colors.

What do you mean by poor spangling?

  4. I just mean that he doesn't seem to have the correct amount of spotting on his feathers for the color variety. (Sorry, I'm talking "chicken" again!)

So is the spangling the white speckles? It's ok, talk chicken all you want. I will be doing it soon too lol.

  6. Yes, it is.

BantamLover55, here is a different angle. He has more spangling on the other side. [IMG]
