I have a RIR girl. Not laying yet but very close too. She has a bacterial infection in her eyes. and I find that her face, comb and wattle go pale quite often. Why is this? anything to do with lay or the infection? Or is it just normal?

It quite possibly could be because of the infection, or the stress of laying
How old is she?
