I've never had a chicken with sour crop, but I hear it's pretty easy to treat...
All the illnesses that appear in a hens reproductive system are chronic {Which means you can treat them, but they wont go away}.
Egg Peritonitis is not treatable or curable. It is best to cull when they have this.
Egg Bound issues are probably the easiest to treat as you just have to give a 10 minute warm-water massage and they usually pass the egg within the next 10 minutes after you give them a massage. Since mostly hens that are 3+ years old are affected my this, you wont have to help them pass as many eggs since they wont be laying as many.
