when I grow up and get a house of my own, I will have 8 pens for chickens, number 1. pet chicken coop (for chickens that are really nice), 2. production hen coop (for good layers), 3. bantam coop(just for bantams), 4. rooster pen (for excess roosters), 5. rescue hens (like battery hens and such), 6. broody pen (for breaking broody hens), 7. free ranging pen (for free ranging), 8. male free ranging pen (it is like it sounds).

You sound like I used to, I would plan and plan and then everyone has discouraged me to do anything important or to follow my dreams, so don't let anybody discourage you as they did me, and follow your dreams...
