Bantams and large fowl...

I have 2 fully grown Orpingtons and a RIR pullet. I am considering getting bantams but I'm not sure because my biggest Orpington, Patrice is bossy to my RIR. Could I mix bantams with my flock? Let me know! Thanks

I have four bantams with my ducks and chickens and they get along great with everyone I've never had a problem.

I prefer to keep mine separate, but I have kept some together in the past, it depends on the personality of your large fowl. Bantams get pushed out of the way a lot by the LF, so make sure to have multiple feeding areas, as well as some smaller roosts. There are all different types of bantams so picking sturdy breeds can help.

I enjoy having two separate flocks that free range in the same area, but each has their own coop with birds their size.
