bantams and regular chickens

    I have several chickens bantams and regular chickens. I was wondering what the diffrence is in the breeds are bantams just smaller versions of regular chickens or a totally diffrent bird ? thanks in advance :cool:

    It just depends on what kind of bantam you have. Most bantam breeds are just mini versions of the standards, like cochins, orpingtons, RIR, wyandotte, and so on. Breeds such as Dutch and D'uccles are a true bantam breed, they have no LF counterpart.
