Hi all. I have a bantam black Cochin whose eggs are fertile. Trouble is, I have no idea who dad is. Might be a polish/Silkie mix, or might be a standard-sized barred rock, or maybe even a buckeye. Would there be any problems with hatching if the dad is indeed the standard, since the egg is smaller? Would there be enough room for the chick?

Thanks in advance.

Bantam hens and standard roo here, we never have a problem and one of my hens is an old english she's tiny her eggs are small and odd shaped occasionally I have to assist her eggs but I think that's due to the shape not the size.
