The great white north.
I have in the bator, bantam white Cornish, bantam white and buff rocks and bantam columbian wyandottes and will be raising for meat birds. The larger meat birds are too big for just me and I hate leftovers.

Anyone else do this, raise Bantams for meat?

I've picked up bantams for processing from folks who no longer wanted them - I think they would make perfect one person servings! I ended up making stock and shredded meat out of the ones I had

Bantams taste just as good as the standard breeds. It's a little more work because you have to pluck more birds to get the same number of pounds of meat. It also helps at plucking time if you raise bantams that don't have exotic feathers but are miniature standard chickens.

You know those cornish game hens in the store?Well there actually cornish x's that are butchered I think around 3-4 weeks.
