the pair of partridge silkies:

rooster before he was plucked badly, though he was a little plucked in the picture. he is much worse now and he needs some TLC. He is 1 year old and we call him "Pancake".

Please not that the $85 pair price does not include shipping costs and the rooster has many feathers missing and needs to moult back in before he looks nice again.


I can get a more recent picture if absolutely nessesary. She is one of the only 2 pullets I picked from this springs hatches to keep.

something i can also do which would be helpful to me and also a good opportunity for you to get some nice birds is i can take orders for started chicks (6-8 weeks old) in pairs and trios of the following breeds. it would take 2 months or more to fill your "order" but you will get quality birds. pay now and i will hatch for your order as soon as payment is received and when the hens are laying. i will start them off first to ensure you will get quality birds and a good selection. i dont ship baby chicks because the shipping is too stressful on them. this ensures you will get quality birds that are healthy and happy!

HIGH QUALITY lemon blue, and lemon splash smooth and frizzles from my show line. I only have a lemon splash roo now as my lemon blue roo passed away so i can NOT take any orders for brown red chicks this spring. sorry!

MARANS BANTAMS - british (clean legged)
(pair $30, trio $45). chicks will likely be cuckoo color, but there might be a brown red here or there. no promises on colors. roo is cuckoo and i have one brownred hen so sometimes get a few brownred chicks. remember these are CLEAN SHANKED not featherleg. they are british bantam marans not french. lay around a #5 egg color.


BEARDED SILKIE BANTAMS and SIZZLES (silkie x frizzle)
straight run only- sexing of silkies and sizzles is difficult so i cant guarantee sexes on them, but you will get some really nice birds and i will try my best to get you girls!

BARNYARD MIX BANTAMS (6 weeks old)
straight run mixed color bantams ($15 for 3, $20 for 4, $25 for 5)
you will get random colors and assorted birds: could be silkie, olive egger, easter egger bantams, marans bantams, pure cochins, frizzle, etc. colors will be random. this will be whatever chicks that hatch which haven't been taken by orders. you will get some cute birds.




SHIPPING for ALL started chick pairs and trios is a flat rate $70 this covers price for a new box, actual shipping costs, shipping insurance and cost for fresh produce to ship with birds. if for some reason the shipping cost is less then i will refund you the difference. usually it is more for shipping than that.

you can also pick up the birds locally instead of paying for shipping.

OR i can deliver for 55 cents per mile if you live anywhere in RI.
