Bantams in the flower garden?

Are bantams any less destructive in the flower garden than full size chickens? The chickens dug big holes until I got them moved, are bantams as talented at excavation?

Oh yes. Take it from a bantam lover, the mulch goes out into the yard to be replaced by nice dusting holes, pecks in leaves, flowers missing, and plants uprooted and strewn all over.

Well rats, so much for that great idea.

I really enjoyed having chickens in the flower garden, just not so much right in the flower beds.

Guess you'll have to put up some of that poultry wire around the beds to keep them out. I am planning on doing that once my garden gets planted. Right now just preparing the soil so they can have fun in that.
