One of my bantam hens laid about 18 eggs on the concrete floor of my garage under a table! She leaves the eggs for no more than 10 minutes every morning to go back to the coop to eat. should i put some hay or shavings near her and hope that she makes a nest and moves the eggs? Should I try to move her and the eggs? or should I just leave her alone and let her do her job?

Is she setting on them? My Sebrights aren't the least bit interested in setting on eggs. They go broody occasionally for about two days and then get bored with it and give it up. Good luck with her, she's beautiful...I have a Gold and a Silver, love 'em.

She has been sitting on them for about 7 days now...she only leaves them briefly for about 10 minutes to eat!
