Bantams scared too use nest box

My super tiny Modern Game Bantam hens were happily using my nesting box. But, my 5 1/2 month old Olive Eggers are exploring the boxes constantly right now. And the 2 tiny hens are afraid to go in there. I put a box way up high in the coop (has 6 foot ceilings) and the littles are going in and out of it. Unfortunately, the activity is starting to draw the attention of the OE’s … should I come up with a box that the MGB’s can fit inside but the OE’s can’t?

That is one solution,,,, but another thing to try is a communal nesting box. That would be an oversize box that can accommodate more than one chicken. Your Olive eggers will likely choose only one box, even if you have multiple separate large boxes. (not communal as mentioned)
So an oversize communal box may be the best choice. Have plenty of nesting hay inside for great comfort.
Your bantams are getting crowded out of the nesting box. It is not same a scared of being in there.
